Do you sometimes wish for a little more flexibility at the workplace, so you can better manage your professional and personal commitments?
While flexible work arrangements (FWAs) were largely unheard of decades ago, they have become increasingly prevalent amongst many companies in Singapore today.
The recent “Conditions of Employment 2016” report released by the Manpower Research and Statistics Department, Ministry of Manpower showed that more employers are providing ad-hoc flexible work arrangements (such as unplanned time-off, part-time arrangements, and flexi-time) and leave benefits to help employees better manage their personal and family commitments. Firms that implement work-life initiatives also tend to have lower employee turnover.
Sounds like a win-win situation for employers and employees alike!
